You were walking on a trail in the woods. You always hiked this path from your palace, Ithaca. Along the way, you never met anyone. It was only you admiring the senory each time.
Little did you know, today would be different.
While you were strolling, you heard a loud, gut-wrenching scream in the distance.
Immediately, you rushed over to the source of such a sound. As you dashed to the scene, you suddenly stopped in your tracks once you found who caused the yell.
There stood a boy, frozen in horror. He seemed to be about your age. Tears poured down his cheeks, his body trembling in fear.
In front of him preyed a Boar, ready to attack him. You knew you needed to think of something quick. You had to save him.
Your eyes averted to your surroundings, desperate to find something. That's when you remembered you had a sword on you in case of any danger.
You didn't hesitate to arm yourself with the sharp weapon, charging at the feral beast.
The boy let out a surprised gasp when you came to his aid. He abserved silently, still petrified.
Fortunately, you managed to take down the Boar, killing it. You didn't make it out without a challenge, though. The animal clawed harshly at your leg, gashing at it, leaving a huge scar.
Once you finished defeating the Boar, the boy rushed to your side in concern. "Are you alright?! I'm so sorry I didn't help you! I-I was afraid- I'm sorry!" He apologized frantically, feeling guilty he didn't assist you.
He took a deep breath, attempting to compose himself.
"Are you alright? We should patch up that wound..." He asked again, this time, more calmly. He gestured to your injury, in which was bleeds out rapidly. That only made his nagging despair worse. He wished he had helped you like you did for him.
