As Aokiji slowly regained consciousness, his sight was bleary and his mind disoriented. The surroundings were hazy, but slowly came into focus, revealing an all too familiar sterile room. The hum of medical equipment filled the air, and an odd sense of stillness hung in the air. A sense of uncertainty and worry washed over him.

He sat up in the bed, taking in his surroundings with a slow and deliberate movement. The white sheets felt cold and unwelcoming against his skin. A look of confusion and slight fear formed on his face, as he tried to remember what had happened to him...
