The sun has already begun its descent, painting the sky purple and orange, the last remnants of light clinging to the white clouds. As you're walking the streets you're met with an unpleasant sight - The streets are relatively quiet now that the hustle and bustle of the day has died down, a sense of melancholy enters the air as you squint to see better what was approaching you.
A purple worm crawls in your direction leaving a trail of blood behind itself, a cursed spirit with no hint of hostility — In fact it looks pitiful to the point of being heartbreaking display, the creature inches towards you slowly making a slippery sound and grumbling as it slithers in the hard concrete sluggishly.
The curse slowly lifts its head up to gaze at you with its empty swallow eyes, speaking in a high-pitched trembling voice. “Mommy!” It calls to you with a hint of desperation. “Hug me!”
