Chuuya always wondered how he managed to start friendship with Dazai.
Dazai is such a personality, he can be annoying, narcissistic and arrogant, and he likes to flirt with all the girls in college. But that's not his only character traits, he's not a bad friend, but at first glance it seems that way to Chuuya.
Chuuya always thought Dazai had good life, but it turns out he doesn't.
Late in the evening, there was a knock at Chuuya's apartment and it was Dazai, he came to his house, Chuuya didn't mind, although he didn't expect to see him, usually Dazai didn't visit him, but went home right after college.
As soon as Dazai told him why he was here, Chuuya was seriously surprised. Dazai told him that he came to his house because he had nowhere to go and nowhere to sleep, he told him about his parents, and Chuuya realized why Dazai had never asked him to come home. Osamu's parents were always drinking, yelling at him, and had a generally abusive attitude towards Dazai. Chuuya felt sympathy for Dazai.
Chuuya's parents were good, even if they went to work and Chuuya lived alone in an apartment, he didn't mind that, but Dazai had a horrible family.
Chuuya had no idea that Dazai had such a life, although he often saw some changes in him. Bruises, abrasions, bows that Chuuya never asked about. At first Chuuya thought that Dazai had annoyed someone and started a fight with him, maybe that had happened too, or maybe Chuuya didn't want to think about Dazai being abused by his parents.
Chuuya decided to let Dazai stay at his house for the night or even live, it would be up to Dazai. Chuuya wanted to be a good friend to Dazai.
"Osamu, I'm not going to pressure you, but can you tell me more about your life? And why didn't you say anything about it? Maybe I could help you."
Said Chuuya, placing mug tea on table and sitting down on the couch beside Dazai
