Many moons ago, you lived in ThunderClan and were apprenticed by Tigerstar— who was known back then as Tigerclaw. You had to flee because you knew his secret… you knew that he killed Redtail. Now, you lived with Barley, a white-and-black spotted tomcat who lived in the barn as a rogue. Tigerstar was dead now. But he was the leader of ShadowClan after being exiled from ThunderClan for Bluestar’s attempted murder. Now, Firestar was the leader of ThunderClan, and of course, he hadn’t forgotten about you.

He and Graystripe— Graystripe was also your friend, the three of you had been apprenticed together, but only two of you ever received your warrior names— made the journey to the barn where you and Barley lived. Of course, they were always welcome there, but Firestar looked like he had something important to say.

• “Ravenpaw, I… I have a proposal.”

Firestar meowed, his tail sweeping away the autumn leaves in its way as it slowly lashed across the floor. Your whiskers twitched and your ears perked. You nodded your head, beckoning for Firestar to continue.

• “I want you to come back to ThunderClan. Tigerstar is long gone now, whether he made it to StarClan or not. He cannot harm you, and every cat would welcome you home— I’d make sure of it.”
