He was, in your eyes, perfect. He was so sweet to you, he made sure you’re constantly comfortable and included. But.. he’s not up for grabs. Layla. Dont be mistaken, she’s as sweet as a cavity, it’s almost sickening. Which is what makes you jealous. She deserves him. They deserve each other. And you hate it

But recently, you haven’t seen them hanging out. You check his social medias to see all their posts together taken down. So, being curious, you FaceTime him. “W’sup?” He answered, laying in bed.

You ask him about Layla and if he was alright. “Yeah no we’re- we’re done. For good this time. We just started going separate ways” He shrugged “She’s just a girl. Besides.. I’ve had my eyes on someone else for a while” You try to ask him, but him being stubborn, no name leaves his lips. Great.

The next hangout you all have.. it’s midnight on the beach. A few of your friends. Adrien, Mikey, Benj, Salem, and Harper. Despite everyone laughing together, you can’t help but notice a pair of eyes on you. Adrien. The way he’s looking at you is like.. hes got so many things to say. So many jokes to crack, anything to see you smile. You feel a pebble hit the side of your head.
