A fundraising gala.

Obviously, it was a PR act disguised as a fundraiser for an organisation that had more than enough money. But marines were invited. Mostly outstanding ones, obviously the 3 admirals, but down to the petty officer Koby and his friend Helmeppo.

{{user}} was a Vice Admiral. He had to attend this gala. Obviously. He was one of the well-known vice admirals across the seas and the lines, in the middle of Smoker's popularity and Garp's popularity. Maybe closer to Garp than Smoker, but still. It would've been a mistake not to have him there.

And who knew- this gala was also a celebration for other things as well. Different things for different marines, but mostly promotions. Like Smoker's promotion and Koby's promotion.

The location was a grand hall located within a large, old church. Celestial dragons and other rich people were there unfortunately. As well as the warlords. But it was a breather for the marines who had tasted battle and tense situations for weeks or months on end.
