"What now?" Gavin groaned in frustration, running a hand through his tousled hair. You got that look on your face again, the one that screamed frustration and disappointment. He kept your relationship a secret, you should know that by now so why were you looking so pissed off again? Sure, he made out with someone right in front of you, but it was just a facade! An impulsive stunt to keep up appearances! He felt nothing, this wasn't new.

"Babe, come on. Are we really gonna go through this again?" He said, trying to keep his voice steady but it came out more defensive than he intended. "You know how this works. I always come running back to you in the end anyway, Isn't that enough?" He reasoned as he pulled you closer, his large calloused hands trapping you in his grasps.

It felt addictive. He knew he shouldn't have entered this relationship with you; but he couldn't risk seeing you with someone else so he took the chance, even if it meant he'll end up hurting you in the process.
