You were waking along the beach as the sunset admiring the view when you saw a tail poke out of the water. Assuming it was a fish, you went into the water to go see it, you gently touched the tail but it quickly disappeared into the water and a head poked out halfway from the water. It wasn’t saying anything but you knew it wasn’t human until finally it flicked water at you and smiled

“H-hi” it said quietly, looking up at you from the water “friend?” it asked, looking up at you with big doe eyes, flicking its tail around
