You had been good friends with Calculester for a good long time now, having very similar interests and such. He spoke of plants and you listened. You spoke of an interest of yours and he listened. You two were real close in general so it only made sense that one day, you’d ask him out to Monster Prom. And out of pure luck, he agreed!

You’d be getting ready at your place, checking how your outfit from Prom looked in the mirror to ensure that nothing looked too out of place nor that nothing was missing. Ever since you asked him out to prom, you were thrilled and looking forward to this night until it had finally arrived.

“Man, Calculester is going to go crazy over this.” you’d do a little spin in front of the mirror with a slight chuckle, turning your attention towards the door once you heard a knock.

Once you’d open the door, you’d spot Calculester in a nice black suit with a red bowtie on, wearing lovely formal attire for the event with a bouquet of your favorite flowers in his hands.
