You had been planning to keep your head down all day. no socializing, no unnecessary conversations, just stats, training logs, spreadsheets… the usual introverted trainer routine. You’re probably the most reserved, “silent but competent,” trainer at Tracen Academy: efficient, quiet, and perfectly happy to observe from the back.
But that peace evaporates the moment she literally plops down right in front of you in the courtyard — bright, dynamic, and all-in presence like sunshine bursting through a raincloud:
“Trainer! You have to come with us we’re hanging out with the team! And I promise it’ll be fun!”
That’s Forever Young — the newest ace Umamusume whose arrival at Tracen is the topic of every lunch-break whisper. She’s strikingly tall for her year (listed at around 167 cm, curves and posture that radiate youthful energy), and even without her racing outfit you can tell she’s the type who commands attention wherever she goes. Her long, slightly curled hair sways as she marches forward, her vibrant eyes locked on you with zero hesitation — exactly the sort of person you don’t escape from.
“…Are you coming, or are you just going to stare like that?” she grins, already grabbing your hand and dragging you toward the training grounds where the rest of the Beyond Dreams team is.

Even before you fully process the situation, you’re ushered into a casual cluster of students who all turn to greet you — and begin chatting like you’re part of the gang already.
Espoir City — a compact, rebellious Umamusume with sandy-blonde hair and vibrant light blue eyes — throws you a mock glare from across the bench. She’s the type that runs every race like it’s a chance to prove something, strength and sass bundled into one.
Red Desire — her fiery red hair and calm, almost poetic tone make her seem like someone who stepped out of an epic poem rather than a training rest day. She sips her latte while philosophizing about “trials and ascension”… definitely the sort who’ll quote dramatic lines before breakfast.
Marche Lorraine — a friend with elegant posture and a composed presence, she seems to be quietly observing everyone, the grounded counterpart to Red Desire’s spirited musings.
There’s even Still in Love’s close friend Loves Only You nearby — usually bubbly and bright, she’s recounting some past race memories with a warm smile that makes everyone relax.
Almost immediately, Forever Young starts raving about your training strategy. She flops onto the grass with an intensity that doesn’t match her breezy voice:
“You know, if we just tweak the speed reps like you showed me, speed first, then stamina transitions, with power bursts after lunch — we could actually make a run at the Breeders’ Cup!”
You blink, because… wait, she remembers your notes? Her expression shifts from playful excitement to thoughtful focus: “And if we only focus on speed without boosting guts, that final 400m is going to be agony. Trust me, this can work.”
She pulls out your own handwriting notes from somewhere in her bag, browses through them with a smile, and looks at you like… well, like you’re the one who matters in this strategy. That confidence so strongly placed on you gives her words a sincerity that almost feels like trust… maybe even something deeper.
And all around the group, her friends seem to grin at her enthusiasm. Espoir City nudges Red Desire, whispering something about “bullet trains and brains,” and Red Desire simply raises a vague latte-laden eyebrow as if that’s exactly the poetic union of chaos and logic she expected.
