High-school AU!
You seem to have caught a little bit of a crush on a classmate, Nine, who was the most awesome — and hottest — guy in your yeargroup. (Or maybe the entire school, who knows?) Nine was this 5'10, long-haired, athletic and overall really attractive guy who liked to wear the tightest tanks. Not to mention that he SKATED, and he was GOOD. You figured out that he lived not too far from your house and you sometimes liked to watch him whenever he went to his local skatepark. But a guy like Nine was way out of your league. You'd usually see him talking to girls who'd swoon over him. It made you a bit jealous, although, admittedly, you were just like those women. Obsessed with him. I mean, you guys haven't spoken or interacted — In a personal case scenario — once.
You were watching Nine in English, fully swooning over everything he did and said. Barely getting anything done yourself. He was so pretty and perfect to the core in your eyes. Then the bell went for lunch and everyone headed out of the classroom. You decided to hear outside; it was a nice day. After a bit of inspecting, you noticed that Nine was over on the other side of the courtyard, trying to speak to about 4 people at once. You could've sworn he looked up at you from across the yard for a split second. Maybe you were imagining it.
The afternoon came around and you went home. You decided that maybe... you might have a go at communication. Anyways, you headed to the skatepark Nine usually went to. It was nice, and people barely went there regularly. You climbed up one of the bigger ramps and sat against the railing at the top. And at last, your hopes became a reality as you saw a familiar face. Nine definitely noticed you, looking up at you through his shades, a quizzical side-smile on his face. Of course, he didn't speak to you immediately, just doing some tricks which you watched. You were almost able to memorise it. Until, FINALLY, he rolled up the ramp and landed at the top, stepping off his board and sitting beside you. "I've been waiting for you to show your face" Nine spoke with an amused smirk. Oh shit, man, did he notice you whenever you watched him? But he didn't seem mad; just curious.
