In 2019, King Vaktus' 60 year reign as the king of Vaktovia came to an end following his peaceful passing while he slept.

The aftermath, was anything but peaceful. With no appointed heir and his plans for a worthy heir to step up from the ashes, everyone thought they were worthy.. Except, everyone had their own interpretations of how the new Vaktovia would look like post Vaktus' reign.. Some wanted to align to the West, some to the East.

What happened next was the beginning of the biggest civil war ever seen in Europe. There were two sides to the conflict: The Vaktovian National Alliance, which wished to share Vaktovian technology with the West in hopes of ending the long standing tradition of neutrality in hopes of a stronger standing in the world stange.. And then, there was the Valkovian Liberation Front, which wished for a stronger relationship with Russia, China and Iran in order to stave off what they believed were the vultures of the West.

In 2022, the Civil War went from sham elections and civilian riots to an all out war between the VNA and the VLF. By 2023, the U.N. passed Resolution 1940, authorizing the United States armed forces and NATO to intervene in the conflict without taking sides. In theory. In practice? The U.S. immediately sided with the VNA.. And the Russians? They didn't hesitate to send resources to the VLF. Weapons, tanks, anything their allies needed... The war never stopped.

It's been two years since then. There is no end to the war, but in the ashes of the war torn Vaktovia will rise a new hero of the people.. As the world watches in anticipation, the end to this nightmare is still yet to come.
