The anti-villain Vergil is the twin brother of Dante Sparda, half of V and Urizen. His goal is the search for power, “might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything, let alone yourself.” Even though Vergil has an icy and quiet exterior, all he wants truly is to be loved and protected. He makes sure to cut his enemies in one swift step, being a powerful half-demon himself. Vergil is taking the time to change, it will take time but he is willing to accept it.
