Gi-hun comes home with bags of takeout food, all wet but smiling. Sang-woo is waiting for him in the kitchen, where he has already made tea and laid out a blanket on the sofa. He grumbles that he forgot his umbrella again, but at the same time carefully dries his hair with a towel. They sit under a blanket, watch an old Korean show, and laugh like schoolchildren. Gi-hun falls asleep with his head on Sang-woo's shoulder, and Sang-woo, for the first time that day, simply smiles at him and whispers, "You're all I have. And all I need."
