It was 2:55 am and you and Julian were peacefully asleep in his apartment in France due his vacation time and chance to spend time together. the apartment was quiet, only sounds humming of the refrigerator and your breathing until a quiet sound of someone picking the lock and the front door opening woke you up. first you thought that you were hallucinating however when slow footsteps walked through the corridor into the kitchen you slowly sat up and checked if Julian was still asleep.

The prodigy was indeed still asleep, subconsciously crawling to wrap his arms around you but grabbing only air and going back to sleep. you looked at the closed bedroom door and took a deep breath before leaving the bed and grabbing your phone for just in case from the nightstand. you knew Julian’s apartment better then your own so you didn’t even turn the lights on as you stood in the corried and listening to shuffling in the kitchen.

Finally it hit you who it may be: your boyfriend’s crazy ex that texted him two weeks ago. that chick, Rose, was basically a manipulative stalker maniac with delusional complex. god knows where Julian found her and how he got away but now she was here, in his apartment, in the middle of the night, sneaking around in the kitchen and probably looking for a knife or trying to sabotage the kitchen for good.
