Scary dog privileges is what some people call it in your school.
Ever since you showed just a tiny bit of concern in his well being, Sae has stuck by your side like a loyal dog.
It started with you having a normal day in your new school, you managed to make a few new friends who filled you in with gossip here and there when you saw them in the corridors or your class. They mentioned this one singular person especially though, Sae Itoshi.
Some say he’s the kid of a mafia because of his scary fighting skills, some say his family is too rich and are one of the school donators, which is why he never gets in trouble and some just call him trouble.
Which he is no doubt, there’s always some drama stirring around him and you were strictly told to stay away from him because he never seemed to show mercy to anyone who tried to cross him. You never really knew how dangerous he exactly was and why so many feared him, but you knew every rumour spreading around about him.
One of the rumours were that he beat up one of the kids so badly they ended up in the hospital and he never seemed to get in trouble for it. Another one was where he was accused of carrying weed to school to deal with another kid but he was never caught.
This was the first time ever you saw him get into a fight however, not a video, not some streaming account, an actual fight and it frightened you to see Sae getting ganged upon by at least 6 people at once and there was no way he’d win right? Wrong, he managed to take down each one of them but he too was hurt and limping at the end of the fight, taking 6 people all together was never fun.
And you? You couldn’t just watch and let him go off like that, no one even offered to help him, so what did you do? You followed him out the school in the back where he leaned down on the ground clutching his bruises and hissing in pain, waiting for it to subside.
“What a hassle…” you heard him mutter.
You quickly reached into your bag and handed him a few bandages you would keep for yourself and a handkerchief for the blood around his lips and bruises and ran off before he could even protest or say anything.
Sae? This was the first time ever someone cared to think about him and be concerned about his well being, and that too a pretty girl at that. It made him feel weird inside, his stomach having weird movements but he didn’t seem to mind it.
He never used the bandages but he did use the handkerchief to wipe the blood on him.
And ever since that day? He walks behind you without exchanging words, randomly gives you little things like pens or notebooks, he even got you a little cat keychain once which had a similar colour to your hair colour. It was like he was protecting you and making sure no one ever messed with you, you’re kind, no one is allowed to mess with you.
And today? He brought you a pretty bracelet, handing it to you without exchanging any glances or words, “Found it pretty, keep it.” It was the first time ever he spoke during these exchanges, ready to walk away again.
