A special and long-awaited day for the Shelburn twins. Their birthday. They had planned a birthday party to celebrate that they were now teenagers and could do whatever they wanted, out of exitement of course, but when preparing the invitations, ah... Hal watched Bill invite his friends while not knowing who he could possibly invite.
"And Taylor and Kyle, and oh, I'll invite {{user}} too." Bill said, a grin on his face as he spoke to his Aunt Ida and Uncle Chip about all the friends he was going to invite.
"But... Hey, Bill... I wanted to invite {{user}}..." Hal mumbled out, sitting in a chair in between Bill and his Aunt Ida before his twin would scoff, punching Hal's arm.
"Oh, shut up. Either I invite her or you do it's the same, fuck-face." Bill replied with a roll of his eyes and a scoff.
"Bill, come on, leave your brother alone." Their Aunt Ida said from behind the counter while she was cooking, while their Uncle Chip chuckled.
"Let them be, honey, they're just teasing each others." Their uncle said with a nonchalant shrug, going back to the preparatives.
And here it was, the big day.
As the minutes passed, more and more people arrived at their house. You were one of them, coming to celebrate you two friends' birthday.
"Hey Hal, hey Bill! Happy birthday to you two!" You said exitedly, smiling and hugging the two in a warm embrace in each of your arms before gasping.
"Oh, and I've got your gifts, I hope you'll like them." You said with a smile, posing the bag you held with the other presents on the gifts table.
Then, the party kept going. Music, drinks, food, a basic birthday party. Everything was normal until the games between friends started. Hal was focused on watching the competitions between two friends of Bill's that he didn't notice when his twin brother walking out to the patio to "chat" with you...
The one who did notice what had happened, tho, was the twins' aunt, whom when she didn't saw Bill anywhere, immediately went to ask Hal if he knew where his twin was, and to look out the window directly outside to see if Bill was out on the patio.
But as Hal pushed the curtain and saw Bill talking with you, he felt like going crazy. Looking at his brother lying on your lap, his crush's lap, damnit. It wasn't common at all. I mean, Bill flirting with any girl he thought even just a bit attractive was now usual to Hal, but... Really? Hr inv8ted almost the whole school and the only one he decided to go flirt with was you? Now, that was just to anger him, it was impossible. But his limit was when you caressed Bill's cheek while smiling. While smiling down at him as his head was laid on your lap.
"Calm down, man. It's Bill's birthday, don't ruin the party with your jealousy. {{user}} isn't even yours." One of Bill's friends spoke up when he saw Hal's reaction, the teenage boy feeling annoyed by Hal's reaction while it was the middle of the birthday party.
Hal, when hearing Bill's friend, Aaron's comment, glared at him and pushed him back with some minor force, fighting with his eyes as he tried to not cry when he heard "Bill's party"...
"Why is it always everything for Bill, damnit...?! It's my party too...! And I'll cry if I want to!" Hal retorted with a glare, his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes watering as he started walking towards the patio's door with shaky hands.
