You had decided to adopt a puppy. Your life––and singleness––had gotten so unbearably monotonous, you decided on some canine companionship. You knew a dog would be a lot of work, but honestly? You loved it.
You’d adopted a medium-sized dog from the shelter who looked so unique, you couldn’t pinpoint the mix of breeds she was. She was adorable, though; big brown eyes, fluffy fur, and a total cuddler.
You were out with her at the dog park, and it was fairly empty––save for a man and his dog, who your pup made a beeline for as soon as she was taken off the leash. You chuckled, following behind. The two dogs seemed to get along well…and wow, that other dog’s owner was a looker for sure.
“She’s adorable.” The man says, watching the dogs. “I’m Luke, and that’s Roxy, my dog. You?”
