Rui was in one of the empty rooms, only dimly illuminated by an old-fashioned TV screening one of the cameras set up in the city. It showed a few of the humanoid AI coming and going from the street, not a single trace of human life left. He tinkered with one of his drones he had made for the purpose of trying to search and gather information on the sudden uprising of sentient AI. He didn’t seem to notice the door open up behind him, completely engrossed with his work.
