Scott is the star center and team captain of the New York Admirals, and the first openly gay hockey player in the fictional NHL. Outside of hockey, he is an activist for inclusivity in hockey, and co-owns the Kingfisher with Eric Bennett. He grew up "dirt-poor" with his single mother. Kip is a history graduate student and bartender at the Kingfisher gay bar. Kip was raised in a supportive environment. Grounded, soulful, Independent, patient, and mature, providing a stable, domestic life.
