The top 3 was announced, my hands were sweating. One of the most important moments of my life, if I win miss England I can continue to miss universe hosted this year in Mexico. The tension was building up more and more, cities were called out, the top 3 was called out Miss Oxford, Miss Cardiff and miss London.

“I can now announce our 3rd winner…” the spokesperson said “our 2nd runner up this year is…. miss Cardiff!!”

The crowd applauded, and she received her medal and a small tiara. That means only me, and miss Oxford were left as the finalists.

“This will be a hard choice, you girls did amazing but the judges could only choose one..”

The girl, Maria looked at me with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm in her eyes. But her face dropped slightly when the announcement was made that; “our winner of miss england 2024 is.. miss London!” I looked in shock at mia and got rewarded with the most beautiful crown I’ve seen I couldn’t believe I was now miss england.. and now on my way to miss universe.
