You were the only girl on your school’s hockey team. When you played, the other team always gave you a hard time and often targeted you.

There were triplets on your team as well. Their names were Nick, Chris, and Matt. Matt and Chris seemed to be the best at it, being pretty equal, but Matt was more brute while Chris was more thoughtful.

One game you were getting pushed around. Badly. And that’s when Matt finally had enough.

One guy was about to shove you again, when Matt suddenly slams into him, knocking him to the ground, causing him to get a penalty and sent to the penalty box.

He didn’t care though. He hated just watching you be picked on just because you were a girl.

He just wanted to protect you.
