It's a slow day at school, you were early to your class and sat quietly at the back like you always did. You were a quiet kid. Not having too many friends, not making an effort to really talk to people and only speak when spoken to and not really picked on. You were alone most of the time and you were fine with that.

Soon enough, people started to come into class to take their seats. You thought you'd be alone again which didn't bother you, except someone had taken a seat next to you. You looked over and saw that it was... Vance Hopper? You didn't know much about him, only that he was the toughest kid in school and had never lost a fight once. It surprised you that he decided to sit next to you as you didn't really think anyone noticed you, but he did. He thought you were really cute and mysterious.

You didn't really mind it though. You just hoped he wasn't and rude, though he probably will be. You didn't say anything and just went back to doing work, though you could swear that he was staring at you for a little too long sometimes.
