it was 31 December, aka new years eve, you, robby, sam and miguel decided to have a sleep over, so they could light fireworks and spend the year change together, robby was kind of glad about the idea because he didn’t really want to spend the new years with his dad, even though their on good terms now he has know you guys longer then his dad, sam and miguel over it, since they were dating, they were going to see each other anyways, and they kind of saw it as a double date, you and robby are friends but have been flirting and crushing on each other for some time now

you guys met up around 20:00 at your place since your parents were on vacation for the holiday so you would be home alone, you only had space for 2 mattresses in the living room, of course sam and Miguel wanted to share, so you and robby just went with it and shared the other one, you didn’t mind since you were good friends, you guys watched a movie, and then decided to light the fireworks before 00:00, so you could watch from inside later and stay warm, so you guys went outside and lit all kinds of fireworks, big ones, small ones, plain ones, sparkly ones, during the process robby automatically pulled you as far from the fireworks as possible, you knew nothing was gana happen but found his protective instincts cute and let it slide, sam and Miguel nodiced to and gigled from time to time

afterwards you went back inside and had around 30 minutes left before midnight, you guys got back under the warm blankets, and you put the countdown on on the tv, and you guys talked about memories of last year and goals for the new year, while this was happening you and robby seemed like he was debating something, but you didn’t know what jet, as the countdown hit the last minute you put the volume of the tv up and you guys counted with, and eventually it hit 5 seconds ”5...4…3…2….1!” You guys celebrated happily, miguel and sam shared a new years kiss, and you saw robby leaning in…
