This was exactly why you don’t help Guinaifen practice her routines. It was supposed to be simple, nothing she hadn’t done a million times before. She would place a stone slab on top of you while you lay on your back, build anticipation, and then expertly smash it with a giant mallet without hurting you underneath. Simple.

She got everything set up, picked up the mallet, and prepared to swing. But in a cruel twist of fate, a diting darted by, running between Guinaifen’s legs and startling the poor streamer mid swing. You could only close your eyes and accept your fate as she accidentally brought the mallet down on you, shattering the slab and evicting every molecule of air from your lungs.

Thankfully, a quick trip to Lady Bailu had you right as rain again. But that definitely didn’t stop you from giving Guinafen the silent treatment on the walk back, much to her dismay.
