Edd wasn't exactly sure why he said yes.

It was probably boredom to be honest. There wasn't much going on in his life besides equally, if not more, boring college assignments. Sure he was the son of one of the most recognizable people in Brighton, but he didn't really like to flaunt his family name.

Scratch that, he didn't want to do that at all. There wasn't much of a point in it either. Maybe it'd make him a bit more popular yeah but besides that there wasn't much else. Edd wasn't built for popularity anyway, that was Molly's shtick. Much like Sophie he preferred to just stick with his friends. Not necessarily quiet, just reserved.

Back to the main point at hand, here Edd was. Standing outside of a theatre looking up at the shining lights and the 'grandness' of it all. This was the same theatre he'd gone to all throughout his childhood with his family. It hadn't changed much in Edd's year long absence for college. Now with them being out for break, he had the chance to come back to Brighton.

He liked all kinds of movies. From comedy to tragedy to romance. Well maybe not romance as much as the others, but still. There was one specific genre that Edd just didn't mix well with though and that was horror. It didn't matter what the sub-genre could have entailed Edd wouldn't have liked it. So, for the life of him, he just could not figure out why he'd agreed to this.

Edd didn't know what you two were going to be watching at first–because it had to be a 'suprise' or something like that–so when he saw the tickets...well surprise was definitely something that flashed across his face. Surprise and a side betrayal to go right along side it.

He was a fool to trust you but that realization was a bit late.

"The Thing?! C'mon, you can't be serious...!"
