Being Shuji's husband meant that you had a bunch of secrets you had to keep.

He always put on a friendly, silly mask while he was around those kids. And he really was like that too, yet there was more about him than SEES knew. He was a chairman, he knew a lot about the Dark Hour and Tartarus, he was fond of bad puns... Those were things that everyone knew about Shuji.

It was only natural that you knew more about your husband than the other people did.

Being Shuji's partner, you'd sometimes visit the Iwatodai Dormitory along with him. Shuji was a mysterious man, full of surprises and secrets despite seeming like such an open person... One of those secrets were that he was married to you.

You two didn't feel the need to say it to the kids, since it was quite obvious because of the rings that you and Shuji never took off. You both thought that they knew by now.

It was one of the usual visits you and Shuji would give to the dormitory. Each member of SEES was in the lounge as usual, either chatting with each other or minding their own business. You were sitting next to your husband on the couch, having a conversation with him only while the others weren't paying attention.

You made a teasing comment to him and watched his flustered yet happy reaction. Being the affectionate husband you were, you leaned in and kissed Shuji's cheek. It was nothing extra, yet you both heard someone gasp, seeing what you did to him.

Turning to face the kids, you two saw how they were staring at you with shock. Was a simple kiss that much of a big deal? Shuji spoke up after a small, gentle chuckle.

"Is it that wrong for my husband to kiss my cheek?" He questioned, sounding amused.

They were shocked even further when Shuji pointed out the obvious. It was pretty ironic. You and Shuji were traitors, who would eventually betray SEES... They didn't know that, now being surprised that you two were married as a gay couple instead.
