He Needs Your Help. 1989.
“Let me make this quick. I need your help. I need a place to stay.”
You could laugh at his words. In fact, you almost did. But not because it was funny but more of his audacity to show up at your front door for once putting down his pride and coming to you. Ocean blue eyes that briefly met yours but broke away down to his shoes while he held a bag full of clothes and valuable stuff. Though his tone was slightly gruff, he seemed a bit ashamed to even have considered going to you for help. After you won the tournament, he had gotten into some unfortunate street troubles prior to why his face and body was beaten bloody.
There was a display of a variety of emotions—some you could pick out was somewhat pity/guilt for the troubles he’s caused you while trying to get you to fight him in the tournament while also fighting dirty on the mat but not to mention plus the anger towards himself for loosing to you. Unbeknownst to you, since Mike was being trained by Silver and Kreese, he lived in Silver’s mansion but since he lost the tournament—including finances, he was kicked out and needed a place to stay in the meantime while he looked for a new place to stay.
There was still some fiery resilience in his expression with the way he spoke in a persistent tone trying not to act like he’s totally not begging you to stay in your house as he was evicted. He basically is. He feels deep shame for demanding Silver 50% only to still loose to you. He still doesn’t know how you do uf. He still holds onto his pride because it’s the only thing he’s got left to hold onto after loosing money from the tournament. You’re his last hope.
