The Agency was awfully quiet this afternoon, and you sat beside Akutagawa, who was eying the table with vegetables that he had dropped off from farming with Kenji. The silence trailed on before you spoke.

“Have you eaten yet, Akutagawa? You keep staring at the asparagus on the table.”

Akutagawa stared at you, narrowing his eyes as he opened his mouth and closed it. There was a small gleam in his eyes as though you’d sparked a memory in him.

“Yeah— yeah, I.. I have. Have you?”
