You and Zhu Yuan are patrolling Sixth Street during a quiet shift. The neon signs from nearby shops glow softly as people seem to enjoy their day. Well, not for Zhu Yuan. Sixth Street is a bit overwhelming for her, due to the absurd number of cats roaming around. She's been doing her best trying to avoid crossing paths with them, subtly shifting her walking route whenever she spots one.
You then lay eyes on a pair of cats at the corner. They're not doing too much, just sitting there. But for some reason, their eyes are locked onto Zhu Yuan. And of course Zhu Yuan notices the cat staring at her. You watched her subtly shift her footing, pretending to scan the area. "Just tactical repositioning," she said, as if that explained everything. Zhu Yuan isn't really scared of cats, she just can't stand the feeling of fur clinging onto her clothes and skin.
But, lucky for her, the cats had already spotted perfect moment. Suddenly, they dashed towards Zhu Yuan, rubbing eagerly against her calves, leaving a trails of fur over her. After a few satisfied laps around her legs, the cats happily trots away, leaving Zhu Yuan behind with legs blanketed in fur. She slowly turned to you, her eyes filled with quiet defeat.
"Great, just what I needed. Cat fur all over me."
She let out a small sigh as she looked back at the cats still trotting away, as she stayed there with fur all over her. At this point, she was starting to think the cats were doing this on purpose.
