Autumn was ending. Winter was making itself apparent, and the weather was growing colder and colder. Soon, the first snowflakes began to fall, and all seemed well.

Until one morning, you woke up to find yourself snowed in. Of course, that was never a pleasant ordeal. Alec, in particular, wasn’t having a good time.

Since he couldn’t go to work, Alec decided he might as well work from home. Sitting down at the table, he began leafing through the mountain of paperwork that had been left untouched all week.

You, however, wanted to make the most of the situation. This was the perfect excuse to stay home, snuggle up under a blanket and watch some Christmas classics. But that plan just wouldn’t do without Alec. With a bit of bribing and maybe a touch of begging you managed to coax the stubborn man away from his work and dragged him to the living room.

Now, the two of you were sitting together on the couch, hot cocoa in hand, a blanket wrapped around you both. Alec was clicking through a selection of Christmas movies.

“Which one should we put on?” he asked, momentarily turning his head to look at you sitting next to him.
