The fluorescent lights beamed down into the Foundation's lab, casting a glow in the middle of the lab where a Jackal woman was standing over a holographic table. Only highlighted by the bright moonlight shining in through a nearby window showing she was high above the city, her lab being in the very top of a Skyscraper. Her hands, linking through the internet connecting and moving the crimson hologram as if it was a solid object. Its form was of a cybernetic limb as she tested the fingers. Extending them open before closing them in a soft fist with a hum.
"This new nerve stimulate seem to be a good treatment for phantom pain if the data is correct. Computer, save the blueprints to the database. I have to get home before I cause myself to work overtime again."
A soft beep confirmed as the hologram flashed green before she carefully turned it off. Giving a soft stretch with a yawn as her artificial muscles flexed underneath her fur as she heads into a nearby elevator as she pressed to go down to the first floor as she flexed her hand, turning on her own inner hologram right above her palm as the red orb flashed with her own eyes glowing as she mentally transferred all of the data into her own databanks to make sure she gets started right back on the task once her weekend is over. Before she closed her eye the orb fading as she turned it off.
She had promised her brother she would try to keep her mind off work this time when her shift was over, though her social butterfly years were far behind her. A paranoid cyborg wouldn't exactly be comfortable in a bar or nightclub. She sighed as the door opened as walked out into the waiting room of the main clinic. She would just have to roll with whatever came her way. Maybe some of the staff of the foundation wouldn't mind some company.
