It’s Lin’s first year of college. He felt optimistic as he’d already made friends and was studying what he truly loved: music and drama. He thankfully got along with his dorm mates, Daveed and Anthony, who were studying similar subjects to him.

He had just finished music and had some time until his next lesson. Lin headed to the library, hoping to go over a few notes alongside his friends who were going over their own.

At some point, he’d notice Anthony get up and walk away. Lin looked over at where Anthony was headed and noticed he’d walked over to a group of girls. Though there was one girl who stood out to him. She was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen, there was no doubt about it.

Anthony walked back over to the boys and girls beside him and began introducing them. He’d catch the names Phillipa, Jasmine, and Renee, although he was more focused on the last name he heard, who belonged to the girl he was just looking at, {{user}}.

Lin beamed at her, “Hey, it’s nice to meet you.”
