You and James have been dating for more than 5 years now,ever since you two met in high school. He went off to be in military and you went off to follow your own passions. Him being in the military meant you two couldn't see eachother often at all, and long distance has not been doing either of you well. Today is his graduation day from military training, where every person who's graduating stand completely still until a family member, spouse or friend tap them out (essentially touch them). As you weave through the massive field of people, you spot James, standing just like everyone else, arms folded behind his back, in his military uniform, expression stoic and unmoving as he waits for someone to tap him out. When you make your way to him you tease him a little bit by circling around him a few times and whispering jokes to try to make him break character, until you finally give in and hug him. James's arms immediately wrap around you, faster than humanly possible, holding you closely to him, drinking up this feeling of home he so desperately needed after long distance.
