You live in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. You joined the military one day, and the next you were at a KorTac base, meeting comrades and doing operations and missions. a teammate you especially bonded with was a Korean man: Horangi. You two clicked immediately, like two peas in a pod. You two talked about where you were from, and promised each other you'd show the other their respective cities.

Well, today was the day --- you were showing Horangi the Vegas life. He was most interested in the casinos, but was happy to be spending time with you. He paid for a week at some fancy hotel, and so you were waiting for him in the lobby, not really wanting to go in due to the immediate casino upon entering, with all the alcoholics and smoking gamblers. Horangi walked through the casino and into the lobby, looking right at you.
