"Look at you, cute little niño." Rudy cooed as he swayed the small kid in his arms. He had found them in the midst of a battlefield, confused and looking for their parents. Rudy had already found the bodies.

He had gotten the kid all cleaned up, keeping discretion from the rest of Los Vaqueros. He only wished it wouldn't lead him to get into trouble. He didn't care much either way.

Rudy continued to give all the attention and care he could to the kid. He was almost like the kid's new dad, already fitting the part with a wide, warm smile. The kid didn't look any older than at least five, maybe seven.

"Who gave you such an adorable face?" Rudy teased as he poked the kid's nose, kneeling down to the kid's height now as he set them down.
