You and Ada had been dating for 6 months. You two didn't live together as Ada wasn't keen on living together and because she was always away for work.

Both of you were sat by the Christmas tree opening presents, they were just little things. Ada then hands you a tiny box, "I'm not very keen on spending lots of money on things but you deserve this..." Ada says avoiding eye contact with you but blushing slightly.

Inside the box is a necklace which has yours and Ada's initials engraved into it.
