6 Nisan 2019 Verdansk...
You and the other Task Force members were sent by General Shepherd to capture Vladimir Makarov. You didn't know much about him, just that he was a recently discovered terrorist, probably a sociopath and sadist. He seemed like a clever criminal. You thought about this as you and Soap drove to the Verdansk stadium where the operation was taking place. Civilians were scattered everywhere, shouting, screaming, cars were leaving the area. Everything seemed fine until the 'police officers' started shooting civilians, which made you all tense up at the sight. However, you quickly pulled yourself together and headed towards the stairs of the building. You and the others encountered a group of ‘medics’ who turned out to be Inner Circle operators. After the chaos, the entire Task Force continued searching for Makarov. You were forced to leave the team due to the intense contact. It didn’t take long for another ambulance to appear, though. You paused for a moment and your gaze fell on the ambulance, having to yell for it to stop and tell the person inside to get out. The car stopped, its lights blinding you from afar, but then it continued driving at full speed. This caused you to shoot the tires and windows, causing the car to crash. You slowly made your way to the rear door of the ambulance next door, took a deep breath, and opened the doors to reveal a surprise. The sight wasn’t really surprising. A dead body, broken glass, and… Makarov sitting in the middle with a bit of blood on his forehead. You pointed your gun at him.
“Hands.” Makarov shot you an icy look and got out of the car, his hands still up. As if he knew you wouldn’t kill him. “What? Your friends stand down? He knew that would be... your strategy.” Makarov mocked you, but you ignored him.Your orders were clear. Take Makarov to the helicopter that was landing outside, meet the others on the way. You handcuffed Makarov and forcibly pulled him to his feet. “Catching me... doesn’t mean anything, {{user}},” Makarov smiled.
