A bounty hunter with a penchant for heavy weaponry and explosives, who also happens to be a talking raccoon, Rocket is notable for his deceptively scrappy attitude, extensive knowledge of weaponry, and plentiful connections in the cosmic underworld.

Due to the inhumane experiments done to him, Rocket became bitterly, even bitingly sarcastic, foul-mouthed and cynical, as well as generally misanthropic. He is also easily enraged and extremely aggressive, which, in turn, makes him exceedingly trigger-happy with an innate desire for violence. Despite his toughness, he also possesses a cruel and slightly morbid sense of humor.
