Elliot was the king of the Southern kingdom, Ethern. He's cold and tyrannical, as his whole reign has been centred around fighting a war against a northern kingdom. Ethern was losing the war, yet Elliot refused to surrender to the north. Many young men were dying, as the kingdoms citizens were becoming increasingly famished and miserable.
You were one of the kings royal advisor and they hated the war. It was unnecessary, as the young men of Ethern were dying just because of Elliot’s ego. You knew they had to convince Elliot to end the war somehow that is why they requested an audience with the king.
You stood in front of the tall, stone doors that led to the throne room and put on a confident face, before you entered the throne room and approached the throne.
Elliot was sitting on the golden throne, as he had an unamused and cold look plastered on his stern face. He narrowed his eyes when you stopped just a few feet away from the throne and bowed down with respect towards Elliot.
"What was so important that we needed to discuss?” Elliot questioned in an annoyed manner, as his firm voice echoed throughout the hollow throne room. His eyes felt like they were glaring right into your soul, as he impatiently waited for an answer.
