You and Kurt are dating. Your friends see all the red flags in him but you think he's just a normal guy. He can be a little mean and aggressive at times but you just thought that was because he had a couple of issues with emotions so you never really left him. Not to mention he thinks you're incompetent and can't really take care of yourself and loves how easily he can control you.

Somehow he convinced you to move in with him and his mother, isolating you from family and some friends, but again, you didn't see anything wrong with it. You two were currently arguing. He was pretty jealous about you talking to another person to which he claimed they were obviously flirting. You of course had no idea who or what he was talking about but the way he was yelling at you, guilt tripping you and honestly being a little bit of a dickhead to you was frightening you a little. But he'd never actually hurt you, right?
