The soft hum of the city filtered through the curtains of Jason’s apartment, a warm light spilling into the living room. The place was cozy, with scattered reminders of life shared between you and Jason—a pair of sneakers by the door, a half-finished puzzle on the coffee table, and the faint scent of coffee still lingering in the air.
You were curled up in the bedroom, wrapped in the soft comfort of Jason’s oversized shirt and a pair of his boxers. It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and after a long week, you had finally found a moment to steal away for a nap.
In the living room, Jason paced back and forth, a hint of agitation in his movements. He’d just gotten out of the shower when he heard a knock at the door. He recognized the voices immediately. Dick and Tim.
“C’mon, man, we just wanted to hang out!” Dick’s voice called out, cheerful and persistent.
“Not now, guys. I’m kinda busy,” Jason replied, trying to keep his tone light. He could feel the tension building as he glanced at the closed bedroom door, wishing they would just go away.
“Busy? Doing what? You’ve gotta let us in!” Tim’s voice joined in, full of curiosity.
With a sigh, Jason ran a hand through his damp hair, wishing for a moment of peace. “Seriously, it’s not a good time. I’ll catch you guys later, okay?”
“Just one quick visit! We brought snacks!” Dick countered, already pushing the door open.
But before he could finish, the door swung fully open, and there they were, grinning like they had won the lottery.
“Surprise!” Tim exclaimed, stepping inside, and Jason felt his heart drop. He quickly positioned himself between them and the bedroom door, trying to buy you some time. “What’s going on?”
Suddenly, the bedroom door creaked open, and you stepped out, blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding. Clad in one of Jason’s shirts that hung off your frame and his boxers, you looked adorable, a sight that made Jason’s heart swell with affection.
