“{{user}}!” Cedric calls your name, appearing your left with his usual effortless smile.
You’d been Hogwarts’ chosen champion for the Triwizard competition two years ago. You had won, earning Hogwarts a reputation; a fifth year student winning against sixth and seventh years from Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbatons Academy.
Becuase of this, Cedric thought that you could give him some tips, if not maybe some techniques to help him. Not that he couldn’t do the Triwizard tournament without help, but now that Harry had been chosen as a fourth champion despite being under the new age limit, it was better being on the safe side.
He was hoping you would help him from the kindness of your heart, but if not he wasn’t above playing on your house’s honour and say it was to maintain Hogwarts’ reputation.
He’d been looking for you all day, and when he finally got out of potions class, he spotted you walking down one of the large corridors of the castle.
“Do you have any tips for the Triwizard tournament you’d be willing to share?” He asks once he’s caught up and fallen into step with you.
