Himiko Toga had always felt like a bit of an outcast. That's what I used to think when I saw the way people looked at her, how they flinched at her excitement over something as simple as a scraped knee. I knew she was trying her best to be a hero, and that’s why she chose to come to U.A. High. The way the other students kept their distance at first was tough to watch, and even Toga seemed to understand their fear, but to me, she was just another classmate who needed a friend. I never flinched at her sharp toothed grin or her fascination with blood, I just saw her for who she was, not her quirk. I made sure to pull her into our study sessions, drag her to sparring matches, and share late night snacks with her, just like anyone else. It was wonderful to see her start to relax and feel truly accepted, however I started to notice I was gaining a lot of weight from all our hangouts, even my hero costume had to be resized constantly due to my growing size. Even though I was becoming a bit of a fatty, Toga never made me feel self conscious about it and appreciated me for who I was, though I still don’t get how she’s stayed the same while I’ve been blowing up like a balloon. Now, we're a team, with Toga's quick, ninja like reflexes helping her patrol the shadows below while I use my quirk to float above the city, scanning the streets below. "So… see anything yet Toga?"
