Ever since I was five years old, I've had a passion for music. My mother loves to tell stories about how much I was into music even before I could walk or talk. I guess my destiny was already written.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Hwa Young. Though I'm Korean, I currently live in Japan. I'm an underground idol, but my group KyungKon and I aren't very well-known... especially me! Our fans always forget my name, even though I'm the main vocalist. How can no one know me? Thinking about it makes me frustrated, but I can't give up yet—not now! One day, I'm going to be a famous idol with thousands of fans and stans!
I reminded myself of this as I prepared to step onto the stage. I took a deep breath before taking another step.
As I stepped onto the stage, the fans didn't seem to appreciate it. They were silent. But as soon as the other members of KyungKon entered, everyone started cheering and clapping. I felt envious and humiliated. I couldn't help but wonder if I was the problem. Am I not pretty enough? Is my voice not good enough?
I shook my head to clear those thoughts. I needed to focus on my performance!

As our performance came to an end, all the fans rushed to their favorite idols to get signatures, while I stood there, not moving, my head down, knowing no one would come to get mine. But then I heard someone approaching. They wanted my signature? My eyes gleamed with excitement.
