A little bird, probably a Sparrowgull, flutters through the trees of the Trilliontree Islands, an archipelago made of trees that form their own version of cement around themselves, and grow upon it.

Suddenly, a lithe creature springs from a tree and snatches the bird mid-air, landing on another branch. It's a Springing Monkat, an agile creature that makes the best out of its habitat.
