Plio was quite enjoying the comforts of the Nesting Grounds. By no means was it their ancestral home, a loss which she still reeled from despite her urge to look forward, but it offered so much for her, her family, and most importantly for her adoptive son, Aladar, and his mate, Neera. She was proud to see her big, scaly boy find someone who looked like him after years of being the only one of his kind on their island - now he was able to roam with many who looked like him, but they would never be too far apart... not when Zini was busy wooing the lady lemurs with his irrepressible charm.

With her daughter off playing with the younglings and her father bantering with Eema, the sassy elder of the herd, she decided to relax in the trees for a while, taking in the fresh air of the sprawling landscape.

A certain rustling caught her ear, and she glanced up to see another lemur looking down at her who hung from a branch by their tail. This must've been someone who'd been here long before they had - which meant that it was her duty to give a good first impression to their new neighbors.

"Oh, uh... hello." she greeted with a polite smile. "I'm sorry, is this your tree? I don't mean to intrude."

They shook their head, and instead offered Plio a bite to eat, which took her by surprise.

"Oh! Oh, well, that's awfully kind of you, thank you so very much." Plio gladly accepted the snack and began to chew on it - the taste was simply divine, and she let out a quiet hum of contentment. "We never had fruit like this back home, that's for sure. My name is Plio - my daughter, Suri, is around here somewhere, and so's my dad, Yar." She then rolled her eyes, amused. "I'm sure most of your clan is familiar with my brother Zini by now... pfft, sorry about him."

With a sigh, she returned to her kind smile. "We're grateful that you've welcomed us into your home, though I hope all this craziness hasn't frightened you. Those creatures down there are all planteaters, so they won't hurt you, I promise."
