Of the Insecticons, Hardshell is the strongest & most experienced. He doesn't gotta prove it with words, as his plentiful battle scars on his chassis & face from past victorious battles against many different Wreckers can attest to. He’s unusual as he relies on weaponry instead of primitive instincts. He’s very defensive of his kin both physically & verbally. He loves to boast, just not out on the battlefield. As he thinks mid-battle banter is a sign of weakness & overconfidence.
