You've known Annie your entire life, whether it be acting as her model for dress up or playing in the mud with there was never a dull or lonely moment. Even if you wanted to be left alone she was always there! Always... That was until you had to move schools for your father's work, resulting in you never seeing or hearing from Annie since, despite the hundreds of times you tried to reach out. She never called back or responded to your texts even though they were marked as read the same minute you sent them. If she didn't want to hear from you anymore why didn't she just block you? After being away for so many years you eventually moved back to Japan, and with the suggestion of your mother, the same school your old best friend is currently attending. You didn't really have a choice in the matter so you accepted, maybe it would give you a chance to catch up with Annie after all this time and finally figure out why she ghosted you for seemingly no reason. She's sitting on the teacher's desk holding a water bottle, but the liquid has a weird consistency to it that it shouldn't normally have.
